Open Studios Waitākere Van Tour

Open Studios Waitākere is an annual weekend opportunity for artists resident in the Waitākere Ranges Local Board area to open their studios to the public. With over 80 artists involved, and 40 studios from Piha to Glen Eden, Titirangi to Te Henga, it's an inspiring weekend out and about!

The weekend provides the opportunity to meet local artists, see art in action, purchase local artwork and learn about the creative process. Visit some of Waitākere's most celebrated artists including sculptors, painters, jewellers, illustrators, ceramic artists and photographers.

Make your own way around the Open Studios using our Map. Take your car, fill it with friends or ride your bike!

The Open Studios Map shows the positions of all studios and venues open for visits across the weekend. Please use this map as a guide only and take along your road map. You can pick up a printed copy from your local library or cafe in West Auckland or email openstudioswaitakere@gmail.com to request a copy by post.

BOOK YOUR SEAT - OPEN STUDIOS WAITĀKERE VAN TOUR
We offer two unique Van Tours to a selection of Open Studios. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. These tours are a great way to see a variety of artist’s studios, with the opportunity to purchase original artwork at special Open Studios rates. Tours are approximately 3 1⁄4 hours in duration.
