An evening of cutting edge song craft and raging rock and roll from these three seasoned acts.
Otis Mace has been writing and playing for many decades and has performed in Europe and North America and Australia and opened for Billy Bragg, The Violent Femmes, Screaming Blue Messiahs and Dead On Arrival. Most recently Otis and band opened for Don McGlashan at The Powerstation in Auckland. His songs are crafty and beguiling and cover a wide cannon of modern rock and melodramatic reptilian lounge folk with big melodies and catchy beats..
On bass guitar and backing vocals is John Segovia, a player with many leading acts including Rodrigez, Wanda Jackson, Don McGlashan, and Shaft .
Rick McShane has drummed for Chainsaw Masochists, The Nudie Suits and Galveston. Rick has run Musiquarium, one of Auckland's most respected, longstanding boutique record shops.

TheMurderChord is an all-live two-piece Vocals/Piano/Drums band from New Zealand.
"I'm Dave, and I've been playing piano for 40 years, and talking for even longer, and so thats what theMurderChord is all about."
"Live drums are something that us humans have been doing for more than 100,000 years, so we make sure to include a bunch of that as well"
Swing/Stomp/PunkRock are some of the styles.
"Piano goes lower than a bass and higher than a guitar and its always in tune. Add some distortion, some beats and , and a few thoughtful insights and you still probably need to hear it to get an idea of what to expect."

Will Saunders delivers songs mixing warped blues and odd folk, and has become known for his upbeat delivery of dark and surreal topics mixed with lyrical wordplay and melodic energy.
Will’s style often eschews the traditional 'singer/songwriter' role for a more madcap edge, having also played with previous bands The Quick and the Dead, The Lowest Fidelity, Bearhat, and current group Trepidations.
