Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the inaugural Papamoa Prom!
We had a killer time back in September with our first Piha Prom, so we thought why not take the show on the road and hit the East Coast too!
We’re bringing the op shop 80's / 90's ball vibes to a seaside summertime soiree at the delightful Papamoa Sports & Recreation Centre.
Friday 13th January will be transformed into a beautiful mess of sound, sight & spooky silliness for one night only.

Murry Sweetpants, one of Auckland's busiest DJ's has teamed up with percussionist Martin Marshall & Hamish Crocker on sax giving an already killer DJ set an extra serving of special, with a live element that takes the sound to a whole new level. Expect the fellas to bust out an array of stone cold classics, a little bit of quality new stuff, and a large helping of funky good times. If it’s a party you want, it’s a party you’ll get.
Bang Bang.
Featuring the uniquely talented Mandy Meadows, Bang Bang perform songs by artists such as Amy Winehouse, Fleetwood Mac, Michael Jackson, Queen, James Brown, Prince, Tina Turner and many more. This band simply do it all.
Ayesha Kee.
Ayesha has been DJing for close to 20 years. The style music of music she prefers to play is soul/funk/disco. A Bay local for 7 years now, She's played all over NZ at all kinds of parties & festivals, and can't wait to kick off the Prom for us!
Jono Salisbury.
He’s a mild mannered educator by day, facilitator of might fine times by night, you may have heard Jono’s catch cry “What Do You Want, What do you Need”
What you want is a good time, What you need is Jono Salisbury involved in musical proceedings.
