Join us for an informal evening to learn about the benefits of Nature Play and how to facilitate nature play for the tamariki in your care. This will be a fun evening with multiple mini talks of 5-10 mins on different topics including: The Lifelong Benefits of a Wild and Free Childhood; Nature Play Spots in Christchurch and what to look for; Incidental Play with Teenagers; Creating Opportunities for Nature Play at Home; Creating Accessible Nature Play Areas; Tramping with Children and Embracing the Outdoors, and more!
The evening is split into 45mins of mini talks, a break for kai and connecting, followed by a further set of mini talks.
Tickets are $5 each, to purchase through Humanitix. Limited tickets available.
This workshop is aimed towards both whanau and kaiako.
