Poetry Open Mic for National Poetry Day 2023

The Mt Vic Hub is proud to partner with Motif Poetry for Wellington's cosiest open mic!

We are excited to fill our little space with spoken word, spill poetry out onto the pavement and send whispered stories out Wellington-wide.

Co-hosted by Mt Vic Hub coordinator Sara Hirsch and local poet Dr Blue, this is a chance for locals to gather at the mic and share stories. This is the launch of what will hopefully become a regular Mt Vic event. We are hoping that we fill the Hub and have to hunt for a bigger venue for the next one! So come help us create a crowd. Sign up to read on the door (up to 5 mins of poetry/storytelling or 2 poems, whichever is shorter). Make sure you turn up on time to get a seat, our space is small!
