Pongal / Sankranti Celebrations - Arts, Music and Food

Pongal is a harvest festival celebrated by Tamil people. It is widely celebrated in India as Sankranti. It also signifies Sun entering into the tropic of cancer. This is celebrated by Tamils every year more than 2000 years. This is also thanksgiving festival to all hardworking farm animals mainly cows and bulls.
