Our annual "mock print judging" ahead of the 2023 Iris photography awards!
We are incredibly excited to share that we have Katherine Williams coming as our guest judge as well as Rachael Smith (Ilford Master) to give some pointers on what paper(s) your images would print well on.
We will have a small panel of judges who will give feedback on how they feel the images might fare in the Iris Awards and ideas about how to improve their chances. Entries are anonymous.
Attendance is free and any photographer can enter up to 3 prints or digital images ($5 each). Prints do not have to be mounted and there is no minimum size, but we recommend that they should be at least 8" x 12" so that judges can assess detail and printing quality.
If you are bringing digital images can you please email these to olivia@oliviawakefield.com and we will create an anon slideshow for the judges
Note: this event will not be opened up to Zoom.
Non-NZIPP members can also participate and submit photos.
