It is time to don your finest dress and most elaborate fascinator and celebrate the Melbourne Cup at The Grille.
Supporting our charity of choice, Breast Cancer Cure, and in collaboration with Flora Fauna and Angel Divine, we bring you the perfect pre-race celebration.
Start your race day the right way with bubbles upon arrival, and then indulge in our generous three-course sharing menu.
Throughout the afternoon enjoy a selection of bubbles and Central Otago wines, alongside a few of The Grille’s favourites. With live music by Calico, and select prizes to be won throughout the afternoon, delight in a day of one-of-a-kind frivolity before the big race.
With special guests joining us to celebrate the occasion, and a few surprises along the way, gather some amazing women and enjoy an afternoon to remember.

Breast Cancer Cure is the only not-for-profit charitable trust in New Zealand, established solely to support research into finding a cure for breast cancer. They have enabled more than 52 research projects led by New Zealand researchers since 1997.
