Protecting Precious Taonga: Tarapirohe (Black-fronted Tern)

Tarapirohe (Black Fronted Terns) a sensitive and fragile native bird. This species nest within a dynamic environment on the Waitaki River. This evenings talk will cover what conservation efforts are being delivered by doc and its rangers to help the birds successfully breed without being predated on or washed away.
