Puppet Show: Box of Birds

Hailed as "the cutest little show in Aotearoa", this is an exquisitely produced puppet show with interactive songs and percussion designed very specifically for ages 3 to 6 years and their parents or carers to enjoy. Peter and his Nanna build a nesting box for Ruru – but Peter must learn to be patient and wait to discover who will eventually come and nest in his 'Box of Birds'! And after all that waiting, Nanna takes Peter on an exciting night time forest walk to find Ruru - in the dark!

The bird characters are all familiar New Zealand locals, such as pīwakawaka, kererū, tūi and ruru, and the story introduces young children to the idea of supporting them and the different needs they may have. Kindergarten leaders and parents have been raving about this show and hundreds of New Zealand children have been transfixed by it since it hatched 2 years ago!
