For many Ukrainians, the Easter season means that it's time for skillfully decorated eggs—called pysanky—which are created with a wax-resist technique and dyes and feature traditional folk patterns.
My Dad was Ukrainian and this is a tradition I grew up with. It's fun, and different if you are not familiar with it, and the results can be beautiful.
Materials are provided but please bring your own eggs. The whiter and lighter in colour the better for the results.
