Reotahi Snorkel Day

Experiencing Marine Reserves - EMR is running a free community guided snorkel day this Saturday from 10am-3pm. Advanced safety procedures will be in place on the day. Suitable for ages 5 and up.

Explore the waters of the Whangarei Harbour Marine Reserve at Reotahi with an experienced snorkel guide; you never know what you might spot? Learn about our native marine biodiversity - what belongs and what doesn't! Active recreation and fun learning for the whole whanau - safely connecting with the wai! Bring your own gear or get free hire of our mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuits. Donations/koha welcome.

Directions: Reotahi, Whangarei Heads. After McLeods Bay follow Reotahi Rd, then Beach Rd to the end and up to the Reotahi carpark.

This free community event is generously funded by the Department of Conservation (DOC)
