Roy Montgomery and Clementine Valentine

Roy Montgomery’s new poetry collection, Endurance, is an ode to his late partner, curator of Antarctic photography Kerry McCarthy. We celebrate her, and launch the book, with a night of spacious sound and lyrics as Roy reads from Endurance and performs music in the most beautiful wooden Gothic building in Ōtautahi. And to celebrate the release of their new record The Coin that Broke the Fountain Floor Clementine Valentine, formerly known as Purple Pilgrims, also perform their lush, spellbinding music which brings together folklore, poetry and power at this very special event.
