The annual public show of the Ruahine branch of NZ Antique and Historical Arms Association, sponsored by Manawatu Hunting and Fishing NZ and Courtesy Ford Palmerston North.
This will be a show to remember with trade displays, sales tables and private collections. There will be exhibits that have not been displayed before among the modern and historic arms, edged weapons, cartridge collections, militaria, books, medals and insignia, local shooting sports groups, equipment and accessories.
Also attending will be recognised experts in their field, who are happy to answer any questions you may have or to assist with appraising an item. (Please contact event security via the ticket desk before taking any items into the exhibition hall)
This is the only occasion that some of the rare items in private collections are displayed. You will be able to get up close and see the real thing and most exhibitors are happy for you to take photos, but please remember to ask first.
The Conference and Function Centre is the perfect display venue with plenty of parking close by and on-site catering. Pass outs are available if you plan to take the short walk to the cafes of George Street or the Square for lunch.
The $20 family ticket is great value for an outing that has something to interest everyone, so come and join us at the best arms and militaria show in NZ.
Please remember to bring your valid NZ Firearms Licence with you if planning to purchase any arms item at the Fair.
