Lessons and School Holiday Happenings at Abi's Natural Horsemanship and Riding School

Warm up in Winter with The Horse. Feel the warmth of putting your hands under a horse's mane, try a new activity, increase your life skills not just how to ride a horse or pony and make new friends. 

At Abi's Natural Horsemanship and Riding School, we help people to gain personal skills such as increased confidence, decision-making, self-esteem and much more by using Natural Horsemanship to develop a respectful, trusting, confident and safer partnership with The Horse. We do this by beginning our sessions on the ground using games to get to know the horse or pony before riding them. It is not essential to ride there is lots to learn on the ground if you don't wish to get on their backs. Our holiday programmes also include teaching on horse care and participants adopt a pony or horse for the length of the programme to call their own if using one of our herd members. We run half-day as well as full-day programmes so all the advertised dates can be a half or full day.  Discounts for multiple family members attending the same session on the same day at the same time.

We recommend that participants are aged 5+ for most of our lessons and holiday programmes. We do have a lead ride option for those of a younger age who would like to give horse riding a go.

Our groups are small with 2 - 5 participants per session or there is the chance to have an individual session.

All of our sessions are suitable for complete beginners through to those who are more experienced around equines. There is the opportunity to use one of ours or bring your own 4 legged friends along to any of the services we offer.
