Sculpt Nature is an 9 day eco-sculpture symposium & competition hosted by the Brook Waimārama Sanctuary. Sculpt Nature focuses on the use of natural materials and is aimed at artists interested in engaging in a conservation theme through their work. This year the theme is ‘The Halo Effect’.

First Prize - $5000

Second Prize - $2000

People's Choice Award - $1000

This initiative aims to provide an opportunity for artists to help in spreading the message of ecosystem restoration to the wider community through the medium of sculpture and land art. 6 Sculptors will be selected to work onsite at The Brook Waimarama Sanctuary from 20-28 October, with voting and a public exhibition of the works taking place at the Brook Waimārama Sanctuary Open Day on Sunday 29th October.
