The Marlborough Flyer Steam Train offers a journey into the stunning Awatere Valley. A sea of vineyards capped by the crowning glory of our maunga Tapuae-o-Uenuku.
Up to 250+ international cruise ship passengers travel by steam train from Picton to Seddon, where they spend an hour immersed in rural Aotearoa/New Zealand before their return journey.
Come along to enjoy the festive atmosphere. Welcome the steam train, enjoy the market stalls, the farming display and all that Seddon has on offer, before we farewell the steam train and all its passengers.

Other attractions that may be open for these events:
-Ron's Toy Shed. Local icon Ron Hebbard's motorbike and sewing machine museum. 140 motorbikes and 100 sewing machines plus so much more!! Visit Ron & Shirley for a fascinating trip down Seddon's history.
-Seddon Fire brigade is just down the road. If the door is up then Rebecca will be there ready to show you how these local heroes save the day, every day.
-Memorial Hill Walk. Take a short walk up to the Seddon War Memorial to remember our fallen, and for a gorgeous view of Seddon and surrounds.
-Tui Garden Walk. A short stroll through native plantings to the underpass, where you can admire a community mural project. On your return relax in the sitting area by the creek.
