An exploration into cowboy electronics using found and sourced material. This is a workshop for anyone who is interested in learning basic arduino and making simple circuits that make a thing do a thing (or not) and then adorning it on a string. 

Participants are encouraged to bring their own small boxes, containers or objects (eg, a sock, vitamin jar, plastic bottle, soft toy, laser gun, large match box etc).

Sharon Fitness is a contemporary jewellery interested in the jewelleryness of things, testing the fine line between everyday objects and jewellery. She believes in saving the world one brooch at a time. She currently works at the School of Architecture as a technician and is based in Tāmaki Makaurau.

Jack Hadley is an artist and educator based in Tāmaki Makaurau. He graduated from Elam School of Fine Arts with an MFA. Recently, he participated in the HANDSHAKE jewellery mentorship programme, working with renowned jeweller Karl Frisch.
