Silver Ring Day - Wellington

Make your own personalised ring, first in copper or brass, and then a final gorgeous piece in silver!

Learn to measure your finger, cut metal to length and texture it without rolling mill, hammers and punches. Then use a jewellers torch, sandpaper and polishing, and your beautiful new ring will be ready to wear.
This full day class is ideal for beginners, groups of friends and visitors to the city.
As students get the day to learn, the results from a Ring Day focuses on acheiving really great finish on their silver rings.

Included in the class fee are copper and brass for practising on, up to 6 grams of sterling silver and all consumables such as sandpaper, solder and chemicals. Extra metals are available for purchase in the studio.

Kids aged 12 (or so) are welcome to attend the class, but any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.
