If you’re keen to visit some new op-shops, reduce your environmental footprint and save money, this is the event for you!
Join us for an engaging sustainable fashion tour in May, brought to you by Matamata-Piako District Council and Waipā District Council. We’re travelling from Waipā to Morrinsville and sharing our favourite op-shops, sustainable fashion tips and pearls of second-hand wisdom along the way. You’ll enjoy a leisurely morning browsing the racks, meeting new locals and hopefully leave with a couple of bargains. Your ticket includes a free coffee from a selection of nearby cafes - make sure to remember your reusable mug!
Te Awamutu pick-up: Please assemble at 8:45am outside the library (bus leaves at 9am sharp)
Cambridge pick-up: Please assemble at 9:15am at the Lake Street Coach Stop beside the Cambridge Town Hall (bus leaves at 9:30am)
The bus will return to Cambridge at 1:30pm and Te Awamutu at 2pm.
Hosts: Nic from Mainstream Green and Shelley from Waipā District Council.
We’ll make at least one stop so that we can visit some outlying stores, but please note that this tour will involve walking around the town centre, so a comfortable pair of shoes is recommended. If you have any particular access needs, please let us know and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
