Join Jackie Ziegler owner of In My Soap Pot, a skilled and experienced soap maker and learn about the different materials and ingredients used, colouring, fragrances, and the cold process method.
During the workshop, you’ll get hands-on experience making your own soap using the cold process method. Jackie will guide you through the entire process. Selecting the right materials and ingredients, adding colour and fragrance, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
You’ll learn about the science behind soap making and gain a deeper understanding of how soap is made. By the end of the day, you’ll have created several soaps to take home and enjoy, along with the knowledge and confidence to continue making soap on your own.
This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to try something new and explore their creativity. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced crafter, you’ll enjoy the challenge of making your own beautifully fragranced soaps. Enjoy the satisfaction of creating something unique and special.

Gorgeous setting at Uxbridge in Howick. Great studio set up and healthy yummy food options at the cafe. The soap-making course was well worth it. I learnt so much about the scientific side with fascinating soap history to boot! The teacher was passionate and very knowledgeable and whole-heartedly willing to share her ‘secrets’ of soap-making.
