Something Colossal Is Coming to Our Centre This Saturday!

Opening of the Colossal Squid Touring exhibition by Te Papa is at Te Awamutu Museum - Education & Research Centre.

An exhibition about one of the largest invertebrates on earth with an average weight of 490kgs and has a tentacle club swiveling hook and arm sucker!
It comes from the amazing team at Te Papa and is FREE for everyone to come and enjoy along with lots to make, create and do!

Lots of activities to do, things to see and exciting interactives!

Museum opening times on Saturday are 10am-2pm.

The Exhibition will continue from December 2nd 2023-March 31st 2024!
