Pack a picnic and enjoy this special evening at the Kauaeranga Visitor Centre. Lots of fun activities for all ages!
4pm: The wild dam release! - come and see history in action with Thames Rotary as they release the historic kauri dam.
4.30pm: Live gecko encounters - see some of our amazing native gecko up close and personal and learn all about their fascinating lives.

6pm: The Lorax movie!
The Lorax – a wonderful, animated family friendly movie with a message about caring for our trees and planet. The imaginative world of Dr. Seuss comes to life like never before in this visually spectacular adventure from the creators of Despicable Me!
The Lorax is filled with hilarious fun for everyone.
