Experience the thrill of Speed Dating
You're invited to an evening of meeting other 35+ singles with disabilities.
This event is suitable for people with intellectual and learning impairments, and those who are neurodiverse.
The venue is wheelchair accessible, and we will be seated inside, with a maximum of 10 females and 10 males attending.
Schedule of Events
5.30pm - Welcome
Ladies will be seated on one side of a large table, and gentleman on the other.
The rules for speed dating will be explained before we begin
5.45pm - Drinks and food
You are welcome to purchase your own drink from the bar. Please be seated by 6pm.
Complimentary pizza will be served on tables from 6pm.
6pm - Speed dating begins
You will introduce yourself to the person sitting across the table from you, and will have five minutes to talk with each other.
7pm - Scoring
Write down who you would like to share contact details with, and if they have matched with you we will share this info with the other person
7.30pm - Home time
Or you can choose to stay longer with new people you have met.
Your host is Wendy van den Berg Farrow, who has been working with individuals with disabilities for many years.
At this time, our speed dating event is only for ladies wanting to meet gents, and gents to meet ladies. If you are interested in attending an event that is geared towards other than only heterosexual couples, please get in touch, as this can be arranged. We apologize if this event does not meet your needs.
