Spud Growing Competition / Market Community Fun Day

Join us for a spud-tacular Feastival Taranaki event celebrating our home growers who've entered the Farmers Market Taranaki Spud Growing Competition!

There will be face painting, story time at 9:30 and 10:30, games of hot potato and potato bowling, and prize giving at 11am.

We'll award prizes to our entrants who've produced the largest potato in size, as well as the greatest yield. We will also be awarding the winners of our summer holiday coloring-in competition.

Come browse our stallholders' fresh produce and other goods that are all locally-made and grown. Enjoy their delicious treats, listen to live music, and spend the morning with us celebrating the most versatile veggie in the world- the potato!
