Student Jewellery Exhibition and Open Day: Christchurch

We are super excited to announce our first Student Jewellery Exhibition in Ōtautahi Christchurch!

On 25 March we are displaying a wide range of our students’ creative works based on their own unique designs – and we are opening our workshop to the community, too!

Come and celebrate our students’ impressive jewellery-making achievements. During these stressful and uncertain times, we all deserve to get much-needed positive vibes and admire beautiful shiny objects :-)

The event will be held between 10am and 2pm and it’s an excellent chance to have a look around the Workspace Studios workshop located right in the heart of Ōtautahi Christchurch.

Want to see how it’s done and get hooked on the magic of jewellery-making? Our very own tutors, skilled Aotearoa jewelers, will run special demonstrations:
10.30am: glass-making - how to shape and colour glass objects and create bewitching jewellery pieces!
11.00am: metal-work – how silver and other metals can be shaped with anvils and hammers, and how to achieve that extra shiny “my preciousss” look by sanding and polishing the metal to the desired finish!
