Susurrations Photo Exhibition and Happenings

Join us for a vibrant celebration of Women in Photography NZ + AU in collaboration with Twentysix, the artist-run gallery in Newtown. The event will run from 28 Feb - 12 March and is sponsored by our friends at Splendid.

The exhibition features the work of 6 artists from around Aotearoa.

A susurration is a murmur, a whisper, a rustling. The selected works speak to the murmurs at the core of each artist's practice. When brought together, the collective speaks to the continuous murmurs which inspire us all; they create a thirst for knowledge, a sense of belonging and well being, they keep us awake at night and sometimes break open our hearts & minds in ways we couldn't imagine.

Workshops - Sign up now:
• A series of 4 sustainable analogue photography workshops led by artists Belinda Whitta and Samson Dell of The Handmade Darkroom.
• A 4x5 large format portrait workshop with Wander Kamera all the way from Berlin
• A develop your own black and white film with the team from Splendid
