It's a myth that tai chi is only for the elderly. Tai chi is a form of self-defence and by practising tai chi you can learn to overcome different forms of attack.
Lessons
You will learn movements from the Yang Style 108-move tai chi form, qi gong and meditation techniques.
Teacher
Tracy Allan has been practising tai chi for almost 20 years. She teaches a regular class at the Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village, and a Tuesday morning class at The Boathouse, and draws on a range of experiences from Buddhist meditation retreats in the UK and in Nelson, and a silent yoga retreat in Rishikesh, North India.
