The tide is a metaphor for how we rise together and reside together.

This group exhibition by local artists and designers from Toi Ohomai | Te Pūkenga is set visibly against the incoming and outgoing tide of Te Awanui, echoing the location of the Papa Unaunahi (Cargo Shed).

Change, renewal, equity and movement. These works, which draw from traditional and digital technologies, speak to our people, time and place, acknowledging and understanding our history and desire for partnership.

Tai Timu Tai Pari also boasts a series of pop-up performances: from fashion shows to live music and visual art workshops. A full schedule of events is coming soon.

Presented by Toi Ohomai | Te Pūkenga

Presented as part of the 2023 Tauranga Arts Festival, on from 19 - 29 October.
