The 1975

English rockers The 1975 will return to New Zealand for the first time since 2020 for shows
in Wellington on April 8 and Auckland on April 10.

The band will perform at Wellington's TSB Arena, then head to Auckland's Spark Arena, bringing a host of new tracks to perform from their forthcoming album, Being Funny In A Foreign Language, which is due for release on October 14. The band have recently released three singles from the album, including I'm In Love With You, Happiness and Part Of The Band, their acclaimed comeback single, which Pitchfork praised as "the kind of grand, playful pop song that only this band could pull off". Being Funny In A Foreign Language will be The 1975's fifth studio album and is perhaps their most intimate yet.
