The Cellars

The Cellars are an indie-dream folk duo who write to soothe and capture the imaginations of their audience. The Cellars have found refuge in their friendship and shared passion for songwriting and music, anything you hear from them has emerged from hours of vulnerable conversations. Their songs intend to capture and carry the warmth and compassion that is transferred forward.

'Fringe n the Stings' has a special place in this bands heart as it was the first space they played together as The Cellars. Since then they have been gaining momentum in the local Hawke's Bay music scene and beyond, with reviews suggesting "a bright future - one to be watched with interest".

For this years Fringe Festival, the Cellars will be presenting a new repertoire of music they have been working on this year as they work towards releasing a debut EP coming out in 2024.
