A steam hauled day excursion from Wellington to the Feilding Craft Market!
You're invited! Come and see what the hype is all about. Travel with Steam Incorporated north from Wellington to Feilding for a visit to the Feilding Craft Market. You are able to board the train at Wellington, Porirua, Paraparaumu, Waikanae, Otaki, Levin or Palmerston North. The train will be hauled by one of our restored steam locomotives and we will be using our fleet of classic red heritage carriages including our Buffet Car.

The Craft Market has been running for over 30 years with plenty of home grown talent from all over NZ. Yes you want to be here at this huge Craft Market with its refreshing look and covering the size of a full rugby field. Many talented Artisans bring you thousands of interesting pieces. Whether you are in need of your own sign made for you on site or hand forged steel handles, rustic furniture and woven rugs. We have metal workers, potters, woodworkers, textile workers. An exciting shopping experience by anyone’s standards, with two cafes on site and all indoors it's a must to do.
Nature-inspired décor, natural skincare, shoes, authors with books, wrought iron and woodware. Handcrafted chocolate, wine, and boutique beers. Merino, possum, and wool.NZ wool blankets, Designer Clothing made from home studios and much more on show at the Manfield Stadium! For this event only, organisers have reduced the entry ticket price for our passengers! Your bus transfer to the venue from the train is included in your Craft Fare ticket price.
If the Craft Fair isn't quite your thing, Feilding provides you with a raft of shops, cafes and gardens to explore during your time. Build with an Edwardian-theme, Feilding has won the annual New Zealand's Most Beautiful Town award 15 times. You can see it for yourself, on the 10th of June!
