Enjoy a warm welcome from mana whenua kaumātua Paora Ammunson and kapa haka concert troupe made up of the three Featherston schools, before tucking into our famous Fish’n’Chip Supper. MC and Featherston Booktown Deputy Chair, Liz Mellish, will guide us through the evening – which includes an after-dinner speech by Guyon Espiner. Guyon is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most respected journalists, interviewers, podcasters and writers. He has worked in print, television and radio for more than 20 years, and is the author of the best-selling book, The Drinking Game. Guyon will have us spellbound with tales and insights from his time working as a parliamentary journalist, investigative reporter, Morning Report presenter and author.
