It has been ten years since Aotearoa came together to recognise the mana of all Rainbow peoples with the passing of the Marriage Equality Bill.
Join the Glamaphones as we sing and rejoice at this historic milestone. At its heart, ours is a celebration of timeless love, and those who fought tirelessly to have it acknowledged in our constitution and in our communities.
With a wide-ranging performance that includes soulful melodies like 'Secret Marriage', 'The Winner Takes it All' and the foot-tapping 'Love Runs Out', this will be an afternoon to remember!
We’re keen to share our music and our kai! Please join us for light refreshments after the performance.
The Glamaphones rehearse weekly at 6.30pm on Thursdays, at St Andrew’s on the Terrace. We do not hold auditions, and we welcome all to sing with us. If you are keen to give it a go, check out our website, talk to one of our members, or email us at contact@glamaphones.org.nz
