The Great Lake Taupō Big Bang - New Year's Eve Celebration

On Sunday, 31st December 2023, Taupō District Council, in partnership with Tūwharetoa Māori Trust Board and Temple Productions will be holding its Annual New Year’s Eve Big Bang Firework Display.

6:30pm – Community Entertainment Starts
7:00pm - Jersey Bob & Monika
7:45pm - Misfitz Dance Crew
8:00pm - Sienna Storm
8:30pm - SKARPAKAZOO
9:15pm - Sonorous
10:00pm - Twilight Mini Bang Fireworks
10:05pm - DJ Angus MC
Midnight – The Big Bang

Please note this will be a family friendly event. Alcohol, Vaping and Dogs not permitted.

There will be a traffic management plan in place throughout the event. Roberts Street will be closed from 7am on Sunday 31st December, and will reopen at 2am on Monday 1st January.
