Aotearoa’s original, award-winning ukulele trio bring their mix of humour, musicality and family-friendly fun to Mangawhai after a five-year hiatus. Now with the addition of Dave’s son Josh to the band The Nukes have added crystal clean high harmony and multi-instrumental skills. This revitalised combination brings exciting new musical possibilities as well as the enhancement of the original Nukes classics, with the harmony and humour that have always made The Nukes crowd favourites. This can be seen and heard in the recently released Homespun album which will be available on this visit. It’s original, inventive, quirky and Kiwi.

The Nukes return to Rotorua after a three year hiatus / the end of the second week of these  school holidays …… Friday October 6th  at the  Howard Morrison Centre 1170 Fenton St Rotorua

Our children's workshop 10 am  is tailored for pre-teen children 6 years and older, numbers are limited so bookings are essential ( can be a mixture of ukulele players, singers, percussion, dancers – performers in each group. Any level. We will teach them a song or two. It's great fun, engaging and inspiring. If they don't play, we can teach them or concentrate on singing and moving. We have a ball. The Nukes recently won the best NZ children music video award for 'Worms ' and were finalists this year for 'Elephants Are On The Moon ' After this session there is an opportunity for the workshoppers to perform with the band in a couple of items in the  Big Family show 11.30 am that follows .
