How do we become really happy and free from problems?
We need to develop a special feeling of inner peace, reduce our negative ways of thinking and replace them with positive states of mind.
To do this we need to change our mind, train our mind in special ways of thinking.
Based on the teachings of the Summer Festival at Manjushri KMC in the UK, Birgit will guide us through some meditations based on the practice of Lamrim, the stages of the path to enlightenment.
Lamrim is a special presentation of Buddha’s teachings that can be integrated easily into our modern daily life.
What to expect
These classes are based on Buddha’s teachings on the mind, but you do not need to be a Buddhist to attend, or to benefit from them. There is no physical exercise involved and you can choose to sit either in a chair or on a cushion. These classes are suitable for all levels of experience.
