Celebrating Hawke’s Bay’s locally grown music in our local halls, we bring you three extraordinary artists.

First up tonight we have Christina started singing at the age of 9 years old. Singing and performing has been one of her passions growing up. Now being a mother of three and a farmer's wife she has taken her passion to following her dream of recording her own music for everyone to enjoy.

Vagus Plum are an upbeat funk roots duo now based in the South Island. Consisting of Dean Vitale & Midge McCleary, both originally from the Hawke’s Bay, the two multi-instrumentalists explore a stripped down sound utilising drums, acoustic guitar & vocals. Vagus Plum creates a rich tapestry of funk-tinged grooves and melody resulting in a high energy collaboration.

Arahi is trailblazing his way through Aotearoa, a rising star amongst our nation’s best and brightest original artists. Arahi channels his artistic soul and mastery of his craft to juxtapose classic and contemporary sound with an eclectic, eccentric twist. Although firmly with influences from many shades of music, from Indie Folk to Rock, there is an unmistakable connection to whenua running through his work. With headline shows at Toi Toi with the HB Arts Festival, to national tours and ongoing collaborations with artists around the country, Arahi is clearly the latest in a long line of extraordinary musicians who consider Hawke’s Bay home.

With three great musical acts, a bar offering local wines & beer, inexpensive wholesome meals, and the comradery of your local community, this will be a night to gather together and celebrate what is wonderful about Hawke’s Bay.
