In the dim light of early morning following a drunken hookup, Beth and Doug find themselves in uncharted territory. As they flirt, fight, and flounder in the blurry, half-drunk morning hours, facts come to light that lay both Beth and Doug bare and vulnerable to each other, to themselves, and eventually to the world outside Beth’s rental apartment… Fast-paced, sexy, and unexpectedly moving, The Way We Get By is a comedy about lust, life, and that other “L” word.
