The Zimmermans play Bob Dylan

"Once upon a time, you dressed so fine - threw the bums a dime...." Yes folks; it's time for the annual visit by the legendary Dylan cover band, the mighty Zimmermans, to Kapiti's hipster capital, Paekakariki. The Bobster crew have packed the hall out on several occasions with their two hour show in the past and they're bringing new songs from the dude who invented a whole new way of making music.

The ten piece band will once again feature the horn section known as the Brasskickers, as well as the full compliment of singers and instrumentalists. The two hour show shines a spotlight on the many facets of Dylan, from his early protest days and solo singer songwriter, through the crazy searing sixties through to his later more funky big band tunes. Expect one or two deep cuts but also be prepared to holler along with all those choruses you forgot you knew. Usually there's room for dancing too.

The doors to this great venue open at 6 30 and the band will be on stage sharp at 7 30.
The show is two hours - non stop.
