Tonight Kristen will host a short non-violent communication introduction and then we will share a community dinner.
Non-violent communication or NVC is a way of communicating which brings connection and understanding to relationships.
The introduction will offer an overview and an NVC experience and there will be time for questions. All up this will take about an hour and 15mins. Then we can share a community meal.
NVC Overview
NVC has been around since the 60s and is a worldwide network. It can be adapted to suit different situations, from workplaces, to kindergartens, to interpersonal close relationships and even how we relate to ourselves.
All are welcome!
Vegan lentils and salad provided, feel free to bring additional food to share!
What is timebanking?
Timebanking is a way to connect to your community while sharing and exchanging skills, goods and resources using time instead of money as the currency. All time is equally valued and this idea builds community and supports people in creative and interesting ways.
