Are you interested in learning more about Community Emergency Hubs – the place to gather if you need help or want to help in an emergency?
There are lots of different ways you can help! From making a cup of tea in the community space, helping with community notice boards, to matching community needs and offers. You can also learn about how to use a radio to communicate with the council’s Emergency Operations Centre. There’s a role for everyone at a Community Emergency Hub!
Come along at 7-9pm on Monday May 1st to find out more.
All questions and suggestions about Tinui’s vulnerabilities, resources and skills - ideas as to how section 5 of the Tinui Community Emergency Hub Guide should be updated are also welcomed.
Coffee, tea and dessert provided by the East Coast Rural Support Trust at 8.30pm.
All welcome. (You may live closer to another Community Emergency Hub, but the concept’s the same.)
