Toi MAHARA Opening Festival Weekend

Come and celebrate the reopening of Toi MAHARA, the Kāpiti Coast District Gallery, with a festive weekend of performance, music, food and art!

Alongside the popular biannual exhibition Arotake Toi | Mahara Arts Review, we will also be showing Whiriwhiria, an exhibition by the Ōtaki Weavers Collective, Ngā Taonga Tuku Iho |Treasures of Kāpiti, and Wai Ora, Water Life, creations by the children of Paekākāriki School.

The weekend festival will include the best of Kāpiti’s performing artists such as the Jess Deacon Trio, Kāpiti Brass Band, Jeep Road Blues, and the stars of the future from Kāpiti College.
