As the sun sets bring a picnic and your loved one to soak up the romantic atmosphere in Highwic’s beautiful heritage gardens.
A cash bar will be serving Highwic’s signature cocktail, The Mariamne, as well as wine and craft beer. Lucky 13, an Old Time Blues Review Band, founded by percussionist Alan McDonald, will provide the entertainment. Alan says, “Lucky 13 takes us back in time to old school music from Southwestern Louisiana. Featuring a sensuous violin and slide guitar, these romantic instruments in the hands of such great exponents, will certainly have you up dancing.”
Tickets to this event are $15 for adults, children free, and includes entry to explore the house. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.co.nz with proceeds going towards the ongoing conservation and care of Highwic.

Parking onsite is extremely limited, and blue badge holders will be prioritised. There is plenty of parking available next door in the Westfield Mall.
Please note, strictly no BYO alcohol allowed. Cash is the preferred method of payment for the bar. Event will proceed rain or shine.
