Waipāhīhī Botanical Gardens Hīkoi 2023

Come along for a hīkoi lead by a kids greening taupō leader through the waipāhīhī botanical gardens. See different significant points of interest. Learn about the unique fauna and flora found in the gardens.

Search for the Kiwi Guardian post and receive your own Kiwi Guardian medal in the mail. End the tour with your picnic lunch and enjoy the Gardens with a new perspective. All ages are encouraged to come. Children under the age of 16 have to be accompanied by supervising adult.

Cost: Free. Koha to Project Tongariro is greatly appreciated.

Participants are asked to bring:
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Water
- Picnic lunch
- Backpack to carry gear
- Appropriate clothing for the weather
