Wairarapa Walking Festival 2023 - Kaiwaiwai Dairies

Catch a charter bus to this amazing operational farm.

Kaiwaiwai Dairies is an award-winning dairy farm, including the Supreme Ballance Environmental Award, which focuses on environmental improvement and climate change mitigation and adaptation. The walk will visit the wetland development, get an overview of the district and history and discuss the workings of a modern dairy farm. The walk is predominantly flat across farmland and will be 3-5km in length.

Walkers are welcome to picnic at the end of the walk and watch the afternoon milking. Bring your own picnic.No dogs.
