Wallace Shield 5km Cross Country Series Race 3 Rescheduled

This event has been rescheduled from 6 May 2023 (owing to the weather) to 3 June 2023.
Race three of a fun, family-friendly, three event series of 5km cross country for runners and 3.4km for walkers, held at Moturoa/Rabbit Island.
Juniors can choose 1 lap (1.7km), 2 laps (3.4km) or 3 laps (5km).
The previous events in the series were on 22nd April and 29th April.
Registration is from 1.30pm, race briefing 2.20pm, race start 2.30pm.
Everyone and all abilities are welcome.

Meet at the “Old Domain” lower Picnic Area for 1:30pm registration and briefing.
This event is a handicap race based on times from race 2.
The slowest competitors start first at 2:30pm with the next competitors going at intervals until finally the fastest competitor starts and tries their best to catch up!
The winner is first across the line.

Points are awarded at each event and members of Waimea Harriers compete for the coveted Wallace Shield.
