The tours celebrate the founding of Wellington, and explore the stories of some of our early settlers - the rich, the famous, and the ordinary folk who arrived in Wellington in 1840 and the years immediately after, and set about developing new lives, laying down the foundations of our city.
The tour starts and finishes at Te Whare Taonga o te Urupā - Bolton Street Cemetery Museum opposite Sofitel Wellington on Bolton Street.
