For the first time in 4 years collaborative duo ‘Weston Frizzell’ are back with a showcase of over 40 works in an exhibition titled ‘1+1=3’ taking place at Limn Gallery, 119 Ponsonby Road, Auckland from 7pm 15th September to the 1st of October.

'1+1=3' An art exhibition featuring works by Otis Frizzell, Mike Weston and Weston Frizzell taking place at Limn Gallery, brings the hits and innovations of 20 years of collaboration together in a compact and focused retrospective. All killer, no filler.

High art. Low art. Pop art. Fine art. Over the last 20 years, Otis Frizzell and Mike Weston, collaborating as art brand Weston Frizzell, have done it all. Embracing co-authorship, and setting egos aside, the pair formed a high performance art partnership that is now thriving into it’s third decade. Weston Frizzell’s pooling of ideas and capability forged a powerhouse of creative hustle and production muscle, creating a collaborative body of work that includes one off and edition paintings large and small, limited edition silk screen prints, digital works in a variety of media, murals, album art, merchandise, commercial collaborations, music video, visual and product design and creative contributions to the many charitable causes the duo supports.

Come along to Limn Gallery at 119 Ponsonby Road from 7pm Friday the 15th of September - 1st October to celebrate this unique show and be one of the first to view and purchase these stunning mixed-media works.

About the Artist: Weston Frizzell
In the last 20 years, Otis has been collaborating with Mike Weston under the art Brand ‘Weston Frizzell’. As well as a string of successful art exhibitions, the pair have created hugely successful campaigns with Countdown Supermarkets, Sustainable Coastlines and created subversive poster art strategies that made headlines in The Guardian (UK) and nearly landed the pair a $50,000 fine from the Electoral Commission.
