Whakaaro Whakairo Arts Symposium ōtaki 2023

The 7th Whakaaro Whakairo ARTS Symposium Ōtaki 2023 encourages and promotes the arts in the community. It allows artists of various skills, from internationally-known to novices, opportunities to collaborate, learn, share with their peers and engage with the community.
Whakaaro Whakairo gathers weavers, stone, and wood carvers, and other disciplines, creating a new collection of artworks, on exhibition and for sale, at the Ōtaki-Māori Racing Club alongside the Ōtaki Pottery Club attracting at least 15 artist's daily from the 4th November to the 12th November, bookended by the Kāpiti Arts Trail weekends. School group workshops are programmed as well as filming during the symposium.
